"But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. (NAS Luke 11:42)
Speaking of TITHES there are many kinds of giver Christian now a days.
1. A person who does not have any knowledge about tithing.
2. A person who gives generously but count it as their tithes already.
3. A person has a knowledge about it but his heart don't want to obey it.
4. A person who wanted to pay his tithes to God but he thinks that his income is not enough so he withhold it.
5. A person who knows the principles of Tithing and act on it.
Each one has each own reason whether he will give his tithes or not. Others will say that it is only commanded in the old testament. Most of the churches are using the Malachi 3:10 as the argument to support its claim. NOW,do we really need to TITHE? what will happen to me if I will not give my tithes. Jesus has many teachings in the old testament but He didn't elaborate the principles of tithing...WHY?
when Jesus said "Yes you tithe but do not
Now how can you distinguish the person who pay his tithes to God and those who does not?
Not Tither:
1. Those who don't pay tithes has more worries that the tither.
2. They are afraid of their future.
3. They are afraid to ask provision from God.
4. They are always in need.
5. They don't have enough.
6. To those who know it, they are guilty because their spirit will witness that there's something they should do.
Tither:
1. Blessed life, have peace and joy in their hearts.
2. Their trust is on God that He will provide and meet all their needs.
3.They live under the protection of God.
4.They live in prosperity.

Maguindanao Massacre-Our dearest friend Marife Montanio and Jephon Cadagdagun
Maguindanao massacre was the most controversial crime all over the world right now. Upon reading the news and seeing the video in you tube i can see the brutality and wickedness of certain individuals.
When my mother and my sister visits me they told me that our former neighbor and closed friend who transfers their residency to General Santos City. Its already been a long time already that we dont have any communication. Now I confirmed that Marife nening Montanio was among the dead journalist. Her cousin Jephon Cadagdagun, who was ask to go with her was among the dead. He supposed to get married and now its already impossible. Even us their former friends didnot expect them to die in that way.

CDO First Assembly of God Church 39th Thanksgiving Celebration
The CDO First Assembly of God Church located at 11th-29th St. Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City celebrates our 39th year faithfully and organically existing to serve the people. The celebration dated 11/29/2009. The date and the street of the church was the same. Is it a coincidence?
Many church goers and members participates the celebration. Many farm products were offered as a thanksgiving gift and the people who would like to buy will pay for the plastic for the amount of 50pesos and you can put as many as you can as the plastic can occupy. 13 lechons were serve and many other viand and fruits were served. All of us enjoyed eating and fellowship with each other. We thank God for all the blessings and the faithfulness of every church.

Our Bible Study Groups
Jesus said "Go and make disciples of men. The harvest are plenty but the laborers are few. We just obey the commands of the Lord to offer our lives and be a blessings to others.
Every Monday and Thursday we are conducting a bible study and preaching to construction workers who are building houses to different of subdivisions in Cagayan de Oro. These people testifies that they were very happy and thanking God that they had given an opportunity to hear the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's seldom happened to a company that the employees will stop working just to hear the gospel. We, the messenger of the Word are also grateful hearing their testimonies that there life were changed including their families.
When somebody among them will do things that are not pleasing they were reminded always the teaching that they learned. It's their guide along the way. We are thankful to the owner of our company, the home choice builders corporation owned by Robinson Masangcay for giving time to his employeeS the hear the gospel.
The beautiful feet of Valerie Joan Garcia,Lloyd Yana,Jonas Guimare and myself continue to do the works that Jesus entrusted to us."How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Word of God"

Celebrating the birthday party
Today we are celebrating the birthday of Robinson Masangcay and his son Gabriel. It's his 3rd birthday. Barney it the special guest who entertain the children and the adults. Together with my family,my cousin Jeza and my son Prince Larry went to Montania Vista subdivision located at Gran Europa , Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.Friends and colleagues are also invited to celebrate the birthday of our dearest friends. We enjoyed a lot looking at the children who joined the parlor games we also felt like a child. Many more birthdays to come and more celebration is coming beginning today until December.

2012 movie-The questions to ask on ourselves??????ARE WE READY TO FACE THE COMING DESTRUCTION?
November 19,2009, Valerie Garcia, Jonah Guimare, Edna Barce and I watched the latest movie 2012 at Gaisano Mall Cinema 3. The movie is so amazing!!!!!!!The cinematography is great. I’ve been wanting to watch this movie for a long time and it was only possible that time.
Aside from the enjoyment we felt, I got some important lessons in the movie. Most of the characters were divorced as what is practiced from most countries nowadays. I saw that the children were not happy seeing their mother with another guy inside their house. They are confused of the situation. This is a result of people’s thinking that divorce is the solution to marriage problems. We must face it, problems are part of the ring in marriage: engagement ring, wedding ring and suffer-ring. Suffering or problems makes a couple strong in their commitment with each other.
Also, when the end of the world came, the people are making most of their time to ask forgiveness, reconciling with their love ones and to some, it turned out to be already late. This reminds me to ask forgiveness always to people I offended and forgive those who sin against me. We should not wait for the end of time to do it: the best time is NOW! We should not let bitterness and unforgiveness stay rooted in our hearts. What if the movie is true and we don't have that 1 billion euros? We can't ride on the big ship to save ourselves and our families and saddest of all, we have no more time to forgive others.
In biblical point of view, that movie does not speak the whole truth as what Jesus said. When the end comes and the wrath of God is poured out on the earth, there is NOWHERE to go! He will destroy the earth by fire not by water and will make all things new. He will make a new heaven and a new earth. The BIG question to ask ourselves is: ARE WE READY TO FACE THE COMING DESTRUCTION??????
